The seat is upholstered with Laura Ashley Linen Plain and, when lifted and supported by hinged brackets, reveals a copious storage space within.
The typical curved corners and fielded panels of the piece are further complemented by its inscribed details. All surfaces are finished with a durable yet unassuming paint and a delicately applied patina to selected edges and profiles.
